Jen is our Nursery Manager and comes to us with over 10 years experience, predominantly in settings in North Liverpool. She is very passionate about supporting children’s communication and language development and has worked continuously on this during her career in childcare, taking part in courses and research programmes. Jen is a supportive leader to her team and cares about their wellbeing and professional development, driving the best possible quality of care and education to our children.

Jen has achieved Early Years Professional Status and holds a Level 4  PANCo qualification, which has helped to develop her skills to support children's health and wellbeing. After gaining a wealth of experience of supporting families and children with SEND, Jen will undertake her Level 3 SENCo qualification later this year. 

Jen is a Mum of two boys who keep her very busy outside of work!  She loves spending time with her family and being outdoors.

Our Deputy Manager Marie has been at Life Bank since we opened in 2005. Marie always wanted to work with children, and through courses she did at Sure Start with her own children found an opportunity to study for her Level 2 Early Years Qualification which lead to her position in the nursery where she later gained her Level 3. Marie loves nurturing the children, watching them develop and settle in to the nursery. She also loves building relationships with parents and informing them about their child's development. 

Carol is a Level 3 qualified Practitioner who also takes on the the role of SENCo. This means that she works with the children, and their families, who have SEND needs. This involves supporting them to when moving on to school by filling in Education & Health Care Plans with parents and assisting them to receive the help they need.

Roz is a parent who lives in the local area and has been with us for around 12 years. Roz started as a student and completed her Level 2 and 3 Early years Practitioner qualifications with us, as well as undertaking training to become one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads. Her passion is working with children and aims to help them reach their stages of development and build good relationships with parents and carers. In her spare time she enjoys going  to the gym.

Maddy is a Level 3 Qualified Practitioner and has been with us for 12 years, originally from Congo she is fluent in English and French. She loves her job and is passionate about helping children to achieve their goals and helping children with SEND. Maddy enjoys teaching french and music skills and in her hobbies include going to church, gym music and meeting and socialising with people from different backgrounds.

Chloe is a newly qualified Practitioner holding her Level 3 Diploma in Early Years. She is a dedicated member of the team, determined to further her personal and professional development. Chloe believes that working within the early years sector is rewarding as it involves helping children develop the foundations for future learning and development. Chloe enjoys being part of children's journeys, developing from babies to young people, gaining essential skills from making friends, to learning how to share, to becoming independent within their daily routine. Chloe enjoys working with children of all ages and backgrounds, ensuring all children receive the best possible education in order to reach their fullest potential. She strives to provide equal learning opportunities for all children, which are tailored to their individual needs and that encourage children to grow and flourish.

Jenna is her holds her Level 3 Children's Play, Learning and Development and has worked with us for the past 4 years whilst studying to qualify to be an Early Years Teacher, which she achieved in 2020. Jenna loves seeing the children progressing and learning new skills. She currently works with children aged 2-3 however has worked with all ages during her time at the nursery.

Josie is our apprentice currently working towards her Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner. Josie enjoys seeing the children happy and making progress.
